SIFCO Process Training

With over 50 years of hands-on plating experience in a broad range of industries, SIFCO Applied Surface Concepts has the technical and application knowledge base to provide you with the best selective plating training in the world.

Any new SIFCO Process operator should attend a formal training program in order to get first hand instruction in the SIFCO Process and in the use of the related plating and anodizing equipment. Established plating operators may require periodic recertification to meet their Quality System requirements. SIFCO offers flexible, comprehensive training options to meet your individual needs.

Our customized training classes for our current customers can be held either on-site or at our Cleveland, OH facility. A typical class will range from 2 to 5 days depending upon the complexity of the application and the number of students to be trained. The cost of customized training consists of the following:

We also conduct several scheduled classes throughout the year at our Independence, Ohio facility for our current customers. These classes are general in nature and focus on the basics of brush plating.

SIFCO is pleased to offer four, three day Basic Brush Plating classes and five, two day classes specifically for Basic Cadmium plating and Cadmium Operator Recertification. We can accept up to 10 students per class on a first come - first serve basis (a purchase order is required to lock in a date).

• The training fee is $315 per student/per day of training.
  • Cadmium Only Class is $630 per student
  • Basic Brush Plating is $945 per student

We also offer a special CD Cadmium Recertification Program for previously trained and certified cadmium plating operators who require periodic recertification. This flexible program offers significant savings and convenience by eliminating travel expenses and letting your operators work on their recertification when it is convenient to you.

Our CD based Cadmium Recertification Program is $525 for up to 4 people. Add $130 for each additional person. A purchase order or credit card is required for us to send the recertification kits.
