I den h\u00e4r applikationen var v\u00e4rmev\u00e4xlarna tillverkade av flera olika st\u00e5lsorter, inklusive kolst\u00e5l, Inconelpl\u00e4tering och rostfritt st\u00e5l, vilket \u00f6kar risken f\u00f6r galvanisk korrosion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UTMANINGEN<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kunden kr\u00e4vde att varje borrning i v\u00e4rmev\u00e4xlaren skulle pl\u00e4teras med AeroNikl\u00ae 250 som korrosionsskydd. Varje borrning m\u00e4tte 19,2 mm x 252,5 mm (0,75 tum x 12 tum) och det fanns 689 borrningar per v\u00e4rmev\u00e4xlare, med totalt fyra v\u00e4rmev\u00e4xlare. Med en exakt specifikation som skulle uppfyllas var det om\u00f6jligt att uppn\u00e5 den erforderliga nickeltjockleken med traditionell borstpl\u00e4teringsteknik. Kunden ville pl\u00e5ta delarna p\u00e5 plats, vilket innebar att tankpl\u00e4tering inte heller var l\u00e4mplig.<\/p>\n<p><strong>L\u00d6SNINGEN<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tack vare SIFCO Process\u00ae:s b\u00e4rbarhet kunde SIFCO ASC ta med sig sitt inkapslade pl\u00e4teringssystem till kundens anl\u00e4ggning f\u00f6r att pl\u00e5ta borrningarna p\u00e5 plats. Processen kr\u00e4vde s\u00e4rskilda verktyg som var utformade f\u00f6r att l\u00e5sas p\u00e5 varje borrning. Med verktyget l\u00e5st och f\u00f6rseglat kunde hela processen slutf\u00f6ras utan att byta elektrod. Den hydrauliska kretsen f\u00f6rs\u00f6rjdes av en centrifugalpump som v\u00e4xelvis var ansluten till lagringsanordningarna f\u00f6r elektrolyt och sk\u00f6ljvatten.
