Komponenterna m\u00e5ste kunna motst\u00e5 friktion, extrema temperaturer och korrosiva milj\u00f6er samtidigt som de forts\u00e4tter att fungera optimalt. En s\u00e4rskild utmaning f\u00f6r FAMAT var de sp\u00e5r i h\u00f6ljet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UTMANINGEN<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>FAMAT kontaktade SIFCO ASC f\u00f6r att f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttra h\u00e5rdheten hos deras h\u00f6ljesr\u00e4nnor genom selektiv anodisering. Varje komponent tillverkades av aluminium 2219 och monterades i GE90-motorn. Rillorna med en diameter p\u00e5 3 meter kr\u00e4vde 50 \u03bcm h\u00e5rd anodisering av typ 3 f\u00f6r h\u00e5rdhet och korrosionsskydd, men FAMAT till\u00e4t en variation p\u00e5 +\/-10 \u03bcm per r\u00e4nna.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c4ven om varje komponent skulle kunna tankanodiseras med hj\u00e4lp av omfattande maskering ville FAMAT minska stillest\u00e5ndstiden f\u00f6r att transportera varje komponent utanf\u00f6r anl\u00e4ggningen. Dessutom hade FAMAT inte r\u00e5d med tre till fyra veckors stillest\u00e5nd per enhet, eftersom produktionen av tv\u00e5 h\u00f6ljen per dag med tv\u00e5 sp\u00e5r vardera p\u00e5gick.<\/p>\n<p><strong>L\u00d6SNINGEN<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SIFCO ASC kunde framg\u00e5ngsrikt installera en fl\u00f6despl\u00e4teringscell i FAMAT-anl\u00e4ggningen. FAMAT har anodiserat tv\u00e5 h\u00f6ljen per dag under de senaste fem \u00e5ren med en repeterbarhet p\u00e5 \u00f6ver 99 %. Systemet har gjort det m\u00f6jligt f\u00f6r FAMAT att ta \u00f6ver hela monteringen av h\u00f6ljet och minska stillest\u00e5ndstiden fr\u00e5n tre till fyra veckor till mindre \u00e4n tre timmar per komponent.
