Territory Sales Manager - Southeast

Position Summary: Performs sales and marketing functions within a targeted territory by selling Selective Plating solutions (technology, products, services, and automation).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Actively seek to identify and convert into positive sales, new opportunities for surface enhancement while protecting those that are already a part of SIFCO business
    • Further penetrate and protect key customer business while aggressively expanding into new high potential markets.
    • Call on and build relationships with new potential customers within the assigned territory.
  • Work with Sales Manager to develop aggressive targeted marketing and sales programs with the intent of growing business and profitability in SIFCO ASC’s assigned business.
  • Perform marketing and competitive analysis of assigned territory for the intent of growing SIFCO ASC’s business and profitability.
  • Collect and distribute market and emerging technology information throughout SIFCO Applied Surface Concepts (ASC) with the intent of growing product offerings, sales footprint and overall profitability of the company.

Qualifications Requirements:

Technical Support Representative

Position Summary: Provide technical and commercial support to sales staff and customers using all available tools, as required for existing products and processes and in the identification and development of new products and processes to support SIFCO ACS’S mission of creating value for our customers through quality products, services, and the innovative application of the SIFCO Process.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email or video meetings
  • Provide technical support to TSMs, CSRs and Contract Service
  • Facilitate Contract Service Quoting Process by reviewing documentation gathered by sales and completing the job planning workbook (JPW)
  • Develop tooling, masking and plating techniques as necessary to facilitate Contract Service work by engaging with Engineering and R&D to develop and document required tooling and plating procedures
  • Hands-on tooling development and plating as required
  • Accurate entry and maintenance of customer activity in CRM system
  • Support Training personnel in the gathering and documenting technical information on recent contract service jobs to create Application Exchanges

Qualifications Requirements:

Accounting Clerk

Position Overview: Provides clerical support for the Finance Department. Generates customer invoices for contract services and all product sales. Processes all accounts payable invoices for all domestic US locations. Reviews and processes for payment all employee expense reports.

Essential Job Functions

  • Confirm and Invoice all Contract Service billings for all shops.
  • Generate customer invoices for all products, services and training.
  • Maintain individual customer portal logins.
  • Verify employee expense report receipts against the credit card statement and out-of-pocket receipts, then assign account numbers to the expenses and batch expense reports for payment.
  • Match vendor receiving reports to vendor purchase orders.
  • Match and verify vendor invoices with purchase orders.
  • Code, enter and balance all AP batches into the Dynamics GP AP module.
  • Print all AP checks, match signed checks with the invoice copy, verify for accuracy and mail the checks. File matched payments.
  • Compile unpaid invoices for month-end accrual.
  • Answer vendor phone calls regarding payment status of invoices.
  • Resolve pricing or receiving discrepancies with Receiving or Purchasing Departments.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and send outgoing mail to salesmen, shops and distributors.
  • Maintain AP and Purchasing files.
  • Generate reports and provide analysis.

Mechanical Design Engineer

Position Summary: Plans, designs, and coordinates integration of special tooling, fixturing and equipment into the process of selective plating and automation for both customers as well as internal applications.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze customer requirements and select suitable equipment to meet project requirements
  • Design systems or products such as workstations, robotics, and machines and controls, applying knowledge of engineering principles
  • Design and implement cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety and reliability
  • Utilizes 3D modeling software to generate component and assembly drawings
  • Support the qualification, testing, installation, training, and service functions of projects to include project scheduling and budget management
  • Interface with sales, customers and vendors to design and manage the manufacturing of tooling, fixturing and Sifco ASC auxiliary equipment
  • Converts legacy drawings from various sources into Solidworks format
  • Adapts easily to changing priorities and exhibits determination in meeting goals and objectives while working independently or in a team environment
  • Perform support duties as needed to ensure department goals are met
  • Travel to customer and supplier sites as needed

Qualifications Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology or similar technical degree with 3+ years of work experience
  • Demonstrated advanced experience in 2D & 3D CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar)
  • Experience designing weldments, sheet metal and machined parts
  • Applies strong working knowledge of GD&T and attention to detail to ensure design accuracy
  • Strong mechanical aptitude demonstrated by past work experience and /or hobbies
  • Strong analytical, math and problem-solving skills
  • Must be a US Citizen (under ITAR rules) to be eligible
  • Other Skills/Abilities
  • Familiar with project management software
  • Basic knowledge of PLC programming or electrical ladder/logic circuits preferred
